And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

What's the Hurry!

Hello friends!  Have you noticed how fast-paced life has become?  We are always in a hurry to get some where or get something done.  We expect instant coffee, instant messaging, and instant solutions to our problems! Fortunately…God is always right on time!  Here is a perfect example...on the way to the York Paper Craft Festival this past weekend,  I was involved in a little fender bender accident that had me unscathed but a little bit rattled.  In the process of exchanging insurance information, I hear someone calling my name.  The chances of having a dear friend come up right behind me at just that time in the area where I was driving was slim, but there she was, just in time to offer the encouragement I needed!  God is so good!

So with this in mind, here is my card created for the
Technique Lovers Challenge at Splitcoaststampers
and the Word Art Wednesday Challenge for this week:

Creative Nugget:  The front of the card was made by stitching papers from the Rustic Beauty Collection by ODBD to Early Espresso card stock.  The clock was stamped in Early Espresso ink and sponged with Vintage Photo Distress ink.  A Pencil eraser and the end cap of a sponge dauber were used to add some distress marks to the DP and to the clock face from the new God's Timing stamp set.  The clock and the gold embossed hands were cut with an ODBD Custom Circle Ornament Die and an ODBD Custom Matting Circle Die.  Angel Wings painted with a clear Wink of Stella marker was cut with the ODBD Custom Angel Wings Die. The sentiment panel was modified from an ODBD Custom Ornate Borders & Flower Die cut.  A bow made from seam binding and gold thread finish the card.

This card will be submitted to the following challenges:
Technique Lovers Challenge 503 - Use a pencil eraser
Word Art Wednesday #153 - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for taking the time to visit with me today…I leave you with this thought,

"But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint."
(Isaiah 40:31) NKJV

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Cathymac

Your card is so beautifully done. (actually ALL your cards are!) I so enjoy seeing your work.

Cathy, I am so sorry to hear that happened to you... But God is so good that he sent you someone by your side at your time of need.

I so wanted to go to York...(never been to that show) just the one in Allentown) but wasn't well enough to attend.
