And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Looking Back at Divinity Designs December 2019 Release

Good morning, friends...happy Friday!  Only five more days until Christmas so today I have several of my last Christmas projects for this year to share using products from the Divinity Designs December 2019 Release.

My first project is a Christmas card using the new Home for Christmas Stamp/Die Duo.

Creative Nugget:  A sponged and splattered night sky background using Oxide Inks was created for the card front and cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die.  The winter scene was built using the Copic colored log cabin from the Home for Christmas Stamp/Die Duo, snowy hills cut with the Curvy Slopes Dies and trees and deer cut with the Trees & Deer Dies.  The embossed sentiment was cut with a Circle Die and sponged to look like the moon to finish the card.

My second project is a treat tower using the Country Christmas Stamp/Die Duo.

Creative Nugget:  The Treat Tower Dies were used to cut the gift box and papers from the Christmas Collection 2019 Paper Pad were used for the layers on all of the panels.  The front of the box was decorated with the cute snowman from the Country Christmas Stamp/Die Duo colored with Copic Markers and snowy slopes cut with the Curvy Slopes Dies.  The sentiment was embossed on a Treat Tag and a few snowflakes cut with dies from the Christmas Dove die set were added with organdy ribbon.

The other three sides of the box were decorated with snowy slopes and trees cut with the Trees & Deer Dies.

Papers from the Christmas Collection 2019 were also used to layer the panels on the inside of the box.  A sentiment from the Country Christmas Stamp/Die Duo was embossed on a Pierced Rectangle die cut.

Welcome to the Divinity Designs December 2019 Release

Hello, friends...Happy Friday!  It's the beginning of a new month and time for another fantastic release by Divinity Designs The count down until Christmas begins.  This month we are featuring Christmas and winter stamps and dies.  I don't know about you, but I am still working on my Christmas cards and gifts!

My first sample features the new True Light stamp set and Christmas Lights Dies.

Creative Nugget:  The card base layers were cut from card stock and papers from the Rustic Christmas Paper Pad using Pierced Rectangle, Double Stitched Rectangle, Circle and Scalloped Circle dies.  The Christmas lights hanging from the deer's antlers were cut with the new Christmas Lights Dies from different colors of mirrored card stock and the bulbs covered in Glossy Accents.  The deer was cut with the Deer Silhouette Die from Kraft card stock and sponged with distress ink to accent the details.  The sentiment from the True Light stamp set was embossed on a banner cut with a Double Stitched Pennant Flags Die and layered onto a Treat Tags die cut to finish the card.

My next project uses the new Home for Christmas Stamp/Die Duo.

Creative Nugget:  I just had to put this cozy log cabin from the new Home for Christmas Stamp/Die Duo onto a quilt cut from papers in the Christmas 2017 Collection using the Log Cabin Quilt Die.  The log cabin was colored with Copic Markers and cut with the coordinating die.  The Circles Stencil was used to dry emboss the background which was cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die and lightly sponged to add a bit of color.  A sentiment from the stamp set was heat embossed and cut with a Circles Die, lightly sponged and mounted to a Pierced Circle die cut.  Finally, lights cut using the new Christmas Lights Dies were hung with care to finish this warm and cozy Christmas card.

The new products used to create the cards above are now available at the Divinity Designs Store:
