And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Taking a Look Back at the ODBD October 2014 Release

Welcome, my friends!  Today we are taking a look back at Our Daily Bread Designs October 2014 Release.  The stamps and dies released earlier this month are helping me chip away at the many Christmas cards needed this year! Here is one project I created using some of the beautiful new products!

Creative Nugget:  Papers from the new Christmas Collection 2014 Paper Pad were stitched to Smokey Shadow card stock and mounted to a Neenah Solar Crest card base to create the front of the card.  The Poinsettia Ornament was embossed on watercolor paper with Liquid Platinum embossing powder, cut with a Matting Circle Die, and watercolored with a variety of refill inks.  A Circle Ornament Die was used to cut a mat for the ornament which was also embossed with Liquid Platinum.  A second poinsettia was painted the same way and the center fussy cut to layer on top of the ornament for dimension.  Some metallic platinum embroidery floss and seam binding were used to hang the poinsettia ornament from the top of the card.  LOVE the new Peaceful Poinsettias Dies!  One of the poinsettias was made from the Christmas Collection 2014 paper while the second one was cut from card stock embossed with Shabby Pink Embossing Enamel. The little holly leaves cut with the leaf in the Circle Ornament Die Set were embossed with Liquid Platinum as well as the vellum sentiment from the God's Timing stamp set. The poinsettias were mounted on loops of embroidery floss and a few faux brads added to finish the card.

Here are the supplies available from the Our Daily Bread Designs Store that were used to make this Christmas card:
