Flower Blocks 3

Hello stampin' friends...happy Saturday!  Welcome to DAY 1 of Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps March Release Blog Hops.  If you love flowers and are familiar with our previous two Flower Block stamp sets, you will love the third addition to the Flower Block collection.  The blooms in Flower Blocks 3 are perfect for the focal point on your spring stamping projects and can easily be colored or paper pieced.

Today's feature is:
  • Stamp set includes 4 images and 4 sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 6" x 8"
  • The images measure approximately 2 5/8" x 2 5/8"
  • Designed by Korin Sutherland
  • Stamp set is $26

Here is a sample made with the poppy block:
Creative Nugget:  The poppy image was colored twice with Copic Markers.  One image was cut out and popped up for dimension. The poppy block was cut with a Spellbinders Classic Square Nestie and mounted to True Black card stock.  Several layers of papers from the Fabric Scraps Paper Pad were stitched together to form the card front which was mounted to a Fine Linen card base.  A seam binding bow was dyed to match and a hand cut sentiment banner was added.  White gel pen accents and a few black pearls finish the card.

The DT has shared their gorgeous samples in the thumbnails below.  Stop by each of their blogs and comment for a chance to WIN one of (2) $20 gift codes to the Sweet'n Sassy Stamps Store over the course of our 4 days of blog hops!

Don't miss these other opportunities to win:
(1) $20 gift code drawn from all comments on Friday's release blog post
(1) $20 gift code drawn from all comments on full reveals in our SCS forum
(1) $20 gift code drawn from all participants in our release challenge hosted on blog

The deadline to comment for a chance to win is midnight EST Friday, March 14th.  The list of winners will be announced on our blog by Monday, March 17th.

Your poppy is just stunning, Cathy! Your stitching, bow and bit of dp are just enough to accent the flower but still allow the flower to take center stage. Gorgeous creation!

Cathy, I'm adding my two cents on the stitching too -- Absolutely beautiful!! The design looks like it has been appliquéd on a soft pillow with that lovely embossing. Wonderful design my friend.
