And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Follow Your Heart

Hello friends!  All of this rain and cloudy weather is perfect for getting in some stamping time.  Today I have a sneak peek of some new stamps and dies being released tomorrow by Our Daily Bread designs using the sketch today on Splitcoaststampers.

Creative Nugget:  A piece of mixed media paper was watercolored with distress and oxide inks and cut with the new Scalloped Chain Die.  The same die was used to cut a white panel which was adhered to a gray piece of card stock.  The watercolored pieces were then randomly popped back into the die to create the background.  The images from the Happy Wedding Day set were colored with Copic Markers and cut with matching dies before popping them onto paper from the Wedding Wishes Collection.  The sentiment was white embossed on a vellum Pennant Flag die cut.

This card will also be submitted for the following challenges:

Just Us Girls #395 - Photo Week

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Be sure to stop back tomorrow to see more details and samples using the new ODBD June Release.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs,
Cathymac

What a cleverly pieced background! So effective! I like the little bell you've got tucked in there too - great detailing. Lovely sentiment both in content and execution. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.

Cathy, you've done a lovely job on this anniversary card! I love so many things about it, but my favourites are the two little birds perched on the vellum sentiment banner! The stitching and the sweet bow are other design elements that caught my eye! So glad you joined us this week at As You See It Challenges!

That background is amazing! I love how you popped the watercolored pieces back in. Love those little birds perched on the vellum sentiment tag, too along with the floral heart and planter. Thanks for playing along with us at JUGS!
