Welcome to the ODBD March 2017 Release

Hello friends!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs March 2017 Release!  One would almost expect to see daffodils and tulips blooming with as warm as the weather has been here lately, but it is still only the beginning of March, so no tulips and daffodils yet; however, you can expect to see plenty of gorgeous spring flowers as you join the ODBD new release blog hop today!  The samples created by the Bread Stick designers are just beautiful and are sure to provide plenty of springtime inspiration.

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until March 2, 2017 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on March 6th, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

My first sample was made using the new Tulips stamp set and the Circle Scalloped Rectangle Dies.

Creative Nugget:  Use the Circle Scalloped Rectangle Die to cut a panel from paper from the Cozy Quilt Collection and layer onto panels of red, Vintage Cream cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die, brown and a Vintage Cream card base.  Create a frame with brown card stock cut with the small Circle Scalloped Rectangle Die and Vintage Cream card stock cut with a Double Stitched Rectangles Die.  Stamp and color the Tulips with Copic Markers and cut them with the Tulip Die.  Tuck the tulips into the frame. Emboss the sentiment on vellum cut with the Pennant Flags Die. Add two strips of paper from the Blooming Garden Collection behind the tulips.  Add a few accents with a white paint pen to finish the card.

My second sample was made with the Daffodils stamp set and the new Side Step Card Die.

Creative Nugget:  Cut a card base using the Side Step Card Die. Line each of the panels with paper from the Blooming Garden and Cozy Quilt Paper Collections.  Cut borders using the Fence Die and the Grass Hill Die.  A yard sign was made with card stock cut with the small Circle Scalloped Rectangle Die and a Rectangles Die.  The Daffodils were colored with Copic Markers and cut with the coordinating Daffodil Die.

Cathy, You give us 2 wonderful cards. Such rich colors on the Tulip card. I'm loving the Daffodil card the most. The fence adds just that little extra something to make it pop.
