Welcome to the ODBD February 2016 Release

Hello friends!  Happy Monday…here we are in February already and time for the Our Daily Bread Designs February 2016 Release!  Our Daily Bread Designs is releasing several stamp sets and dies perfect for your Easter creations as well as creating thank you cards which are perfect for any time of the year.  The talented Breadstick Designers have been busy making gorgeous samples for your inspiration.

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until February 2, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on February 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

Both of my samples were made with several of the new products being released this month!

Creative Nugget:  The background panel was made by white embossing the Easter Egg Background on Neenah card stock and randomly sponging distress inks to cover the whole panel.  The center was cut out with a Double Stitched Rectangle Die, embossed with the Boho Background Die, stitched to white card stock, and mounted back in place.  The Flourished Happy Easter was clear embossed with VersaMark and Milled Lavender Distress ink, cut with a Double Stitched Rectangle Die, and stitched to a piece of paper from the Pastel Paper Pack.  Two of the Ornamental Crosses Dies were used to create the layered cross.  White ribbon ties everything together.

My next sample was made with the new Easter Basket Dies and Easter Eggs Dies.
Creative Nugget:   The Easter Egg Background was white embossed on a piece of paper from the Easter Card Collection 2016.  The Leafy Edged Border Die and the Grass Border Die were used to create the foreground from Pastel and Blushing Rose papers.  The basket from the Basket of Blessing stamp set was colored with Copic Markers and cut with the Easter Basket Die.   Easter Eggs Dies and papers from both of the new paper collections were used to fill the basket with Easter eggs and flowers. Double Stitched Circle Dies were used to cut the little tag which was embossed with one of the sentiments from the Basket of Blessings stamp set.  A bow and some pearls were added to finish the card.

Here are the beautiful new products being released by

OMGosh Cathy, that first card is out of this world amazing my friend! Your layers are so elegantly positioned and the sewing just tops all off!! The cross is so gorgeous and your ribbon, wow! the egg border looks almost like lace it is so beautiful!
Your second card is so pretty as well and I love thee new way to color the basket! I remember baskets like that, just so sweet!!! The grass and tiny little flowers really add to the lovely eggs in the basket and on the ground. The egg border on this card is great for texture! I love the sewn layer of ground too...all-in-all two beautiful creations!
