And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

Just Because It's Spring!

Hello everyone!  Happy Spring!  Even though we have had a pretty mild winter, I'm still glad Spring has arrived!  To celebrate, I have a couple of tulip cards to share.
Creative Nugget:  These Tulips from Our Daily Bread Designs are so much fun to color.  They were randomly stamped on the background and red stripes sponged through a stencil.  Texture Paste stripes were also added to finish the background.  The Copic colored tulips were cut with the coordinating Tulip Die and mounted on panels cut with Pierced Rectangle and Circle Scalloped Rectangle Dies.  A Mini Label Die was used to cut out the sentiment and some gingham ribbon was added to finish the card.

Creative Nugget:  The background was created with Distress Oxide inks (**FUN**) and the Happy Birthday song was lightly handwritten with a gray marker.  The sentiment was also handwritten with a Fude journaling pen.  The Copic colored Tulips were again cut with the matching Tulip Die and the Pierced Rectangle Dies were used to cut each of the layered panels.   A few rhinestones and some ribbon were added to finish the card.

These cards will be submitted for the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have a beautiful spring day!

Hugs,
Cathymac

Your oxide ink background is stunning! I have my inks laying out on my craft table but haven't had time to give them a try yet...I've seen several backgrounds created with them as I've been browsing blogs today and I'm definitely inspired to give them a try when I have a few minutes of free time! Your tulip is beautiful, as is that gorgeous sentiment! Thank you so much for joining in our first challenge at Mustard Seed Faith Challenges...I hope you'll play along with us again soon!
