Hello friends!  Welcome to the Our Daily Bread Designs June 2015 Release!   With the onset of June comes sunny days ahead!  Our Daily Bread Designs new sunny release this month is sure to uplift you and have you smiling! On June 21st we'll also be honoring our father's and the release this month has the perfect tools for creating fabulous masculine cards for the occasion.  Get ready for some wonderful June inspiration from the talented Bread Basket Designers!

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until June 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on June 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

My first card was made using the new Good Man stamp set and the Vintage Ephemera Paper Collection.

Creative Nugget:  A recessed frame was created using black card stock and papers from the new Vintage Ephemera Collection **GORGEOUS**!  The Keep My Lamp Burning lighthouse image was stamped directly on another of the papers in the collection.  A little sponging and coloring with Copic Markers were used to add just a hint of color to the image.  The lighthouse panel was adhered inside the frame.  The verse from the Good Man Stamp set was cut using an Antique Labels Die and mounted on the outside of the frame.  Strands of rope twine were pulled apart and added along with a few pearls to finish the card.  (Wish I knew how to make a nautical knot!  **wink**)

My second sample was made using the fun, new Sunshine Blessings stamp set and the fabulous new Sunburst Background.

Creative Nugget:  A blue card base was created from a side folding card by cutting off approximately the top 2/3 of the card front.  The bottom of the front as well as the inside of the card were layered with yellow card stock.  The Sunburst Background was embossed on Neenah Solar Crest card stock and sunny colors were sponged on while the paper was still in the embossing plate.  A portion was cut and stitched to the outside of the card front.

The smiley sun from the Sunshine Blessings stamp set was stamped on Neenah Solar Crest card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  A banner was created using one of the sentiments from the Sunshine Blessings stamp set and the Pennant Dies. Two of the words from the sentiment were highlighted by stamping them in different colors, cutting them out, and popping them up on the banner.  This panel was then stitched to the inside of the card. A few clouds cut with the Clouds & Raindrops Dies and flowers cut and sponged with the Bird and Nest Dies were added to finish the card.

Here are the new release products available now at the Our Daily Bread Designs Store that were used to make my projects...

Great lighthouse card. I know how to tie a nautical knot. When my son was in scouting (he's an Eagle Scout now) the parents learned as well as the scout to tie many, many knots. It's one of the few things I still remember.
Your sunshine card is breath taking. Love the flowers and the stitching, too.

Fab cards the linen look on the cardstock really does make the sun card special and I love how you used only a portion of the diecut/stencil on the front.

The fishnet over the light house car is awesome. It goes so well with that stamp
