Welcome Little One

Happy Friday everyone...hope you have all had a wonderful week.  Today I have a card to share using the adorable new Baby Clothesline Stamp/Die Duo by Divinity Designs.

Creative Nugget:  Center Step Card and Center Step Layers Dies were used to create the base for my little baby scene.  The designer papers used come from the Baby Girl AND Baby Boy paper pads.  The clouds and grass were cut with the Cloud Border Dies and the Grass Hill Die.  I am always looking for different ways to use the dies that I have so found that the handle die from the Bountiful Basket Dies worked perfectly for the poles for the clothesline.  The baby clothes were colored with Copic Markers, cut with the coordinating dies and hung with the little clothespins...aren't they just the cutest.  "WELCOME" was cut with the LetterBoard Dies and the Fence and grass were added across the bottom of the card.  Scalloped Rectangle, Double Stitched Rectangle and Rectangle Dies were used to frame the embossed sentiment to finish the card.

This card will be submitted for the following challenges:

Pammie's Inky Pinkies Challenge 1929 - Anything Goes
Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #351 - Anything Goes
Aud Sentiments Challenge #232 - For a Child + A Sentiment

Sending Birthday Wishes - DD Color Challenge

Happy Saturday, everyone!   Hope everyone experiencing the heat wave is keeping cool.  It's time for another Divinity Designs Color Combo Challenge. This month we are using colors inspired by papers from the Shabby Pastels Paper Pad...Gorgeous!

I decided to use the Sending My Love Stamp/Die Duo for my sample.

Creative Nugget:  The new Chevron Background Die was used to cut papers from the Shabby Pastels and Shabby Rose paper collections.  Both of these paper pads are beautiful and the colors and patterns coordinate perfectly.  The chevrons were then pieced back into the frame to form the card front which was then mounted to a Scalloped Rectangle.  Circles were cut with coordinating papers using the Circles, Scalloped Circles and Pierced Circles Dies.  The Sentiment from the Sending My Love Stamp/Die Duo was popped onto the circle.  The new Sentiment Strip Dies are perfect for sentiments from all of the stamp/die duo sets.  I'm so glad the Pretty Posies Dies have been redesigned and added back to the store...they were used to make the flower embellishments for this card.

This card will be submitted for the following challenges:

That's Fin-tastic

Hello stamping friends!  I am sharing several cards over on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog today using the new Fin-tastic Friends stamp set released this month by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.

Creative Nugget:  My underwater scene was created with stamps from the Fin-tastic Friends stamp set along with some images from the Mer-mazing set which is a perfect complement.  The underwater background was sponged using a torn paper mask and Oxide inks.  The sandy bottom is torn Kraft card stock stamped with texture from Texture Tiles 1.  The adorable images were colored with Copic Markers, cut with a Scan 'n Cut and popped onto the background.  The sentiment was white embossed on teal card stock to finish the card.

Creative Nugget: On my second card Stitched Edges Dies were used to cut two panels from a piece of Yupo paper that was swiped with Alcohol Inks.  These were popped onto a white panel leaving without the center piece.  The Copic colored images from the Fin-tastic Friends set were cut and pieced onto the card.  The sentiment was pieced together using the Sentimental Wordfetti and Typewriter Blocks Alpha stamp sets.

The stamp sets used in the cards above are available at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.

Looking Back at the Divinity Designs July 2019 Release

Good morning, friends...happy Friday!  Today we are looking back at the Divinity Designs July 2019 Release. I have a couple of projects to share using some of the new baby products that were released this month.

My first project uses the Baby Blessings Die Set and the Chevron Background Die.

Creative Nugget:  A piece of white card stock sponged with some Oxide ink was cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die, embossed with the Cross Stitch Folder and mounted to paper from the Baby Girl Paper Pad and a Scalloped Rectangle.  Some chevrons cut with the Chevron Background Die left from a previous project were added across the card.  The Onesie and sentiment were cut and decorated with dies from the Baby Blessings set.  The sentiment was mounted to  Double Stitched Oval and Scalloped Oval die cuts.  An organdy bow was added to finish the card.

My second card features the Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo and the adorable little Candy Carrier Dies.

Creative Nugget:  The adorable Candy Carrier Dies were used to cut the carrier base and the layers were cut from Baby Girl papers.  The Cross Stitch Folder was used to add some texture to the layer on the handle.  The sentiment from the Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo was stamped and layered onto pieces left over from cutting the handle on the carrier.  The little bunny is also from the same stamp/die duo.  A bow and some chocolates were added to finish the little favor.

Two for Tuesday - Elegant Embellishments

Hello everyone!  It's time for another Two for Tuesday feature over at the Divinity Designs Blog.  I was feeling like a little Christmas in July so I used the Elegant Embellishments stamp set and the coordinating Elegant Embellishments Dies from Divinity Designs for my two cards today.

Creative Nugget:  White card stock and paper from the Christmas Collection 2018 were cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die and pieced together to make the card front on this CAS version.  The ornaments and sentiment from the Elegant Embellishments set were stamped on coordinating papers, silver embossed and cut with the coordinating dies.   The ornaments were hung with silver metallic thread.  Bows and pearls were added to finish the card.

Creative Nugget:  For the stepped up version, the white panel was embossed with the Flourishes Embossing Folder.  The Merry Christmas Border was cut three times and stacked with the silver embossed layer on top.  The edges of a Scalloped Rectangle were silver embossed and layered behind the card front which was then mounted to the card base.

A little more sponging, some white paint splatters and stamped stars complete the galaxy sky.  The rocket and moon were colored with Copic Markers and a little Glossy Accents applied to the window.  The sentiment panel and some gems were added to finish the card.

Next up is a card made with the beautiful Happy Irises stamp set.  This set was the Stamp of the Month last month, but is now available for purchase.

Creative Nugget:  Oxide Inks were sponged onto a piece of mixed media paper, spritzed with water splatters and stamped with the grid texture from Texture Tiles 1.  Another piece of white card stock was impressed with a canvas pattern and stitched to the sponged panel.  The irises were colored with Copic Markers, cut with the Scan 'N Cut and popped onto the card.  The sentiment is from the new Stamp of the Month, Sentimental Wordfetti, and is available free with a $60 purchase.

My first sample features the new Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo.

Creative Nugget:  The Tri-Fold Card with Layers Dies were used to make the card base with layers cut from papers from the Baby Girl Paper Pad.  The Cloud Border Dies were used to create the clouds from which the stars were suspended.  The Sparkling Stars Dies were used to cut the stars.  The new Bless This Baby Stamp/Die Duo was used to create the sentiment for the card with the stamped portion of the card on one of the Sentiment Strips die cuts.

My second project uses the Sweet Baby stamp set, the Chevron Background Die, and the Baby Blessings Dies.

Creative Nugget:  Kraft card stock and papers from the Baby Boy Paper Pad were cut with the new Chevron Background Die.  The pieces were then fit back into the frame to create the background for the card which was adhered to a Scalloped Rectangle die cut.  The Baby Blessings Dies were used to make the cute little onesie, rattle and pacifier.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Baby stamp set and was cut with a Pierced Rectangle Die.  Some jute bows were added to finish the card.

My third project Coordinates with the card above and uses the new Candy Carrier Dies, The Chevron Background Die, and the Sweet Baby stamp set.

Creative Nugget:  I just love the new Candy Carrier Dies...What a sweet little gift to accompany the card above.  The carrier was decorated with Baby Boy Papers and some leftover chevrons and the little bear from the Baby Blessings Dies.  The sentiment is from the Sweet Baby stamp set.
