Creative Nugget: The Bendi Frame Card Tutorial was modified to make a dimensional shadow box frame that was attached to the front of the card base. Rectangle and Double Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to create the frame. A scene was then layered inside the frame to create my card sample using the new Howdy and Ride 'Em Cowboy stamp sets. The mountains from the Keep Climbing stamp set were masked, stamped twice, and watercolored on water color paper to form the back of the scene. The mountains were stamped and water colored again on mixed media paper so that the silhouette image from Howdy could be added. This layer was fussy cut and popped up on the background. The cowboy image from Ride 'Em Cowboy was stamped, fussy cut and adhered to the inside of the frame to create a third layer of dimension. A cactus was added to the scene along with a sentiment which was stamped on a piece cut with the Log Cabin Quilt Die. **Hint: these pieces are perfect for stamping sentiments! A little lasso made from twine was attached behind the sentiment to finish the card.
