And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

SNSS 8th Birthday Party Blog Hop

Hello friends!  Welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Birthday Party Blog Hop!
The Design Divas have created cards featuring some of our favorite Sweet 'n Sassy stamp sets and dies, but that's not all we're sharing!

One lucky commenter will be randomly selected to win a phenomenal PRIZE PACKAGE worth $80!!  Just leave a comment on each of the DT Blogs by 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12th to be eligible for the prize. We will announce the winner of the prize package on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog on Friday, November 13th so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

The design team has created some wonderful cards to share for our birthday celebration but we'd like to see YOUR creations, too, so feel free to grab your favorite SNSS products and link up using the Linky Tool at the bottom of this post. Each participant will receive a SURPRISE "party favor."  The Linky Tool will remain open until the end of November.  We can't wait to see your sweet 'n sassy creations!

Here is my creation for the hop:

Creative Nugget:  The background panels for my card were made with pigment powders, stencils and baby wipes at a recent Color Burst class taken at a local stamp store.  The left panel was stitched to a scalloped edge cut with one of the dies from the Bookmarks & More Die Set.  The banner girl from the Worship the Lord stamp set was colored with copic markers and hand cut into a banner shape.  A white paint pen was used to draw flowers on her dress to mimic the flowers on the background.  The sentiments are from the Script Birthday and Mini Tags stamp sets. A Gingham bow was added to finish the card.  I love how the stamp sets in the Bible Journaling line can be used to make cards for any occasion.

Here are the products from the
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store used to make this card sample:

After the hop, why not head on over to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store and grab some of those favorites you have been waiting for!

In case you haven't heard, we are offering free shipping with your $30 order until Thursday, November 12th.  Be sure to enter code BDAYFREESHIP at checkout.

Thanks so much for stopping by…enjoy the hop!

Welcome to the SNSS August 2015 Release

Hello, friends!  Welcome to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps August 2015 Release Blog Hop!  We are super excited not only about the three brand new stamp sets being released this month, but also about adding a brand new illustrator to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps team…Karla Dornacher.  Karla is an inspirational speaker, writer, and illustrator whose Bible journaling designs are just amazing!  You will see the stamp set she designed for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this month as you hop along to the different Design Diva Blogs.

Blog Hop Giveaway!
What would a Blog Hop be without a giveaway, right?  One random commenter from one of the DT blogs will be selected to win a $20 Gift Code to Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps.  You have until Thursday, August 20th at midnight EST to leave your comments.  The winner will be posted on the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog on Friday, August 21st!

My first sample uses the new Little One stamp set.  This darling baby set is a much needed addition to the
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps line.  The vintage looking silhouettes and beautiful sentiments in the set can be used to create sweet baby gifts and cards.

Creative Nugget:  The Floral Pattern Background was white embossed on Neenah card stock and sponged with Distress Inks. This panel was cut diagonally and stitch to the embossed Dotted Swiss layer.  The sweet footprints from the Little One stamp set were also white embossed and sponged with the same colors as above.  The sentiment was white embossed on pink card stock and hand cut into a banner.  A Scallop Border was embossed with Swiss Dots and attached to the banner.  Dyed ribbon and some rhinestones were added to finish the card.

My next sample was made with Karla's new stamp set, Worship the Lord.  Not only can this fabulous stamp set be used to create cards, but bookmarks and Bible Journal entries as well.

Creative Nugget:  Every image in the Worship the Lord stamp set was used to create the Bible verse from Luke 4:8 in the margin of my Journaling Bible.  StazOn Jet Black ink was used to stamp the images.  This ink did not bleed through the page, although you can see a shadow of the images on the back of the page.  The images were then colored with Prismacolor Pencils.  A white Sharpie Paint Pen was used for the highlights.  Please share your experiences with Bible Journaling in your comments.  I look forward to learning what mediums work for you!

Here are the new products and some old favorites from the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store that were used to create my samples:
