Now...on to my projects! Since I've recently become a new Great Aunt, the stamp set I chose to make samples for is the
Precious Girl stamp set....LOVE this one!!
This darling gift set will be for my new little grand niece, Baylee!

Creative Nugget: The card front was made by stitching an embossed panel and some of my favorite Graphic 45 baby papers to Groovy Guava card stock and a Vintage Cream card base. A piece of lace separates these two sections. The precious girl image was stamped on a piece of Vintage Cream card stock, cut with a Spellbinders Gold Label 4 die, and mounted to a Groovy Guava Label Four die. The precious girl image was stamped again on Solar Crest card stock, and again on some Graphic 45 DP. The first image was colored with Copic Markers and popped on top of the Vintage Cream panel. Just the dress was highlighted with some Copics, cut out of the DP, and popped on top of the second layer. This made three layers in all, creating depth on the main image. The sentiment, also from the Precious Girl set, was stamped on a Spellbinder Basic Tag die. The tag was tied onto the lace with some button twine. A mulberry flower, some leafy sprigs, a charm, and pearls finish the card.

The baby pram was made with some matching Graphic 45 papers following a pattern from the Great Gifts CD by Technique Junkie Newsletter. The sentiment was stamped on a Spellbinders Tag and tied to the pram with seam binding and button twine. Some lace and a decorative pearl were used to dress up the pram.
Neutral colors were used to create my second sample.
Creative Nugget: The little Bless this Child sentiment from the Precious Girl stamp set was stamped before using the Quatrefoil Pattern Die to emboss the pattern on a piece of Vintage Cream card stock. Frayed Burlap Distress Ink was used to stamp the Gingham Background stamp on Vintage Cream card stock. This was cut into two narrow strips and adhered to the embossed panel. The panel was then stitched to Fine Linen card stock and mounted to a Vintage Cream card base. The precious girl was stamped on Solar Crest card stock, cropped with a Square Nestie, and mounted to Fine Linen after being colored with Copics. The girl image was stamped again on a left over piece of the gingham stamped card stock. The dress highlighted with Copics, cut out, and mounted on the square panel. The scripture panel was also cut with a Square Nestie and sponge with Frayed Burlap ink. A Seam binding bow and several little pearls finish the card.
From here, you will hop to the super talented and very creative Dawn!
Enjoy the rest of the hop! Have a fabulous day!
Hugs,
Cathymac
