And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, and to love kindness
and mercy, and to humble yourself and walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

SNSS August 2019 New Release Blog Hop

Hello friends and welcome to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps August 2019 New Release Blog Hop!  We are so excited about the release this month...get ready to see some amazing samples using the fabulous new products from the August release!

Hop along and leave a little comment love for the designers linked below and you just might be a lucky winner.  One lucky comment from all the comments along the hop will win a $10 gift voucher to the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store.  The winner will be announced on the SNSS Blog on Wednesday, August 21st.

Cathy McCauley (You are here!)

For my first sample, I used the Singing Praises stamp set designed by Nina Brackett which is the August Stamp of the Month, free with your $75 order before shipping and taxes.

Creative Nugget:  A background was made with Oxide Inks and script text from the Texture Tiles 1 stamp set was added.  The feather panel was created by white embossing the feather from the His Wings stamp set and sponging Oxide inks over the embossing.  This was spritzed with water and white acrylic paint splatters were added.  The Chickadee from the Singing Praises stamp set was colored with Copic Markers, cut with my Scan 'N Cut and popped onto a sponged, stitched square panel.  The sentiment was white embossed on card stock and adhered across the bottom of the card.  A few pearls were added to finish the card.

I wanted to use the little ladybug from the new Tea for Two stamp set for my second card.

Creative Nugget:  Leafy branches from the Fantastic Flowers stamp set were colored with Copic Markers, cut with my Scan 'N Cut and added to the corner of a smooshed  Oxide ink background.  A PTI fence die cut was added to the lower corner. The little flowers and ladybugs from the Tea for Two set were added to the fence and the leaves.  A sentiment from the Sentimental Wordfetti stamp set was stamped on the fence to finish the card.

There's a special alphabet sale going on right now at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store until August 19th.  Buy two Alphas and get one free alphabet set (of equal or lesser value) no coupon needed!

Ceal is next on the blog list so hop on over to her blog for more fabulous inspiration from the August release!

These cards will be submitted for the following challenges:

Thank so much for stopping by...enjoy the rest of the hop and good luck!

Hugs,
Cathymac
