Happy 8th Anniversary to ODBD

Hello friends!  Whoooo-hoooo!  It's time for Our Daily Bread Designs to celebrate their 8th Anniversary!  I think you will agree…the stamp sets and dies being released today are just gorgeous and perfect for sending an encouraging note!  They are a tribute to our sweet, talented Grace Nywening, who also helped to design them!

Eight randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until March 18, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on March 19th, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

Here is my first sample for the Anniversary Release:

Creative Nugget:  Using the beautiful new Filigree Frames and Lavish Layers dies makes it easy to design gorgeous cards especially since they coordinate so well with the Rectangle and Double Stitched Rectangle Dies.  Papers from the Ephemera Essentials Collection were used for several of the layers.  One of the versatile sentiments from Faith Card Sentiments was used on this sample.  The stargazer lilies from the Beauty set were colored with Copic Markers and cut with the matching Lily Die.  Some Fancy Foliage was placed behind the lilies and a silk ribbon accent added to finish the card.

My second sample uses the new Grace's Hope stamp set:

Creative Nugget:  Easter Card Collection 2016 and Pastels Papers were cut with the Lavish Layers Dies and layered onto blush card stock.  The sentiments from Grace's Hope were embossed with Liquid Platinum Powder as was the heart from the Bless Your Heart set and the butterfly from the Butterfly and Bugs set.  Both hearts were cut with the Ornate Hearts Dies and the butterfly was cut with the Butterfly and Bugs Die.  A Double Stitched Rectangle Die and a Double Stitched Star Die were used to make the banner for the HOPE sentiment.  Stitching and silk ribbon were used to finish the card.

Here are the new products used to make these cards…

…and some old favorites:

This is just stunningly beautiful Cathy, I love that you mixed in some of the older pieces with the new ones too. ( it really gives you an idea of the scales more than reading the numbers when you spy something else you have being used) :)
