Weather Woes

Hello friends!  We have a winter wonderland here…beautiful to look at, but not too much fun to drive in so I'll be staying close to home today.  Is anyone else ready for Spring? Since March came in like a lion, I'm hoping the lamb follows quickly.  LOL!  Wind and rain would be a welcome relief from ice and snow, don't you think?  One of the new Sweet Perks Bundles released by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps this month, Windy Winnie, includes Winnie of course along with a lot of fun weather related sentiments.

Creative Nugget:  The subtle Bokeh background was created using watercolors and white pigment ink.  Hillside Edges Dies were used to make the little houses on a hill and the storm cloud. Now, about that storm cloud…it was created to cover up the fact that I had mistakenly stamped the raindrops upside down! Aaaaaack…ever do that?  But it works okay, I think!  Windy Winnie was colored with Copic Markers and her umbrella was paper pieced.  A little Glossy Accents was used on the raindrops and the puddle, and Baker's Twine finishes off the card.

Here is the Windy Winnie Bundle available at a 20% discount for only one more week...

  2. Love this image with the sentiment, your scene in the background is a nice touch to it, like the papers you used
