ODBD March 2015 Release

Hello friends!  I am so ready for Spring and the new products in the March 2015 Release by Our Daily Bread Designs are perfect for getting ready for Easter and the spring season.  The talented Breadsticks have some beautiful creations to share with you today.

Three randomly selected winners will each receive a $25 gift certificate to the ODBD Store, to be used toward the purchase of ODBD Stamps found in the "stamps column" of the website just for commenting on the Design Team cards!  You have until March 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. EDT to leave your comments on the Designers' Blogs for a chance to win!  The Winners will be posted on the ODBD Blog on March 3rd, so be sure to check back there to see if you won!

Here are two projects made with the new stamp sets and dies:

Creative Nugget:  Various inks were sponged on a piece of Neenah Solar Crest card stock, the new Christ the Lord Background was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and a frame cut using Spellbinders Matting Basics Dies and the large die from the Flourished Star Pattern Die Set.  The Christ the Lord Background was stamped again on one of the beautiful papers in the Shabby Rose Collection.  The Ornamental Crosses were layered and mounted to the inside of the frame.  The corner of the Christ the Lord Background was stamped yet another time, the flowers colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut, and attached to the frame.  A pearl was added to the center of the cross to finish the card.

The second project was made using one of the Pre-Cut and Scored Double Display Card Bases.

Creative Nugget:  The panels of the card base were lined with Smokey Shadow card stock and papers from the gorgeous new Shabby Rose Collection.  A belly band was created to hold the card closed.  The sentiment is from the Blessed Easter stamp set and was sponged, cut and matted with Spellbinders Oval and Scalloped Oval Nesties, and popped onto some Vintage Flourished Pattern Dies.  Some Fancy Foliage and little flowers cut with one of the dies included in the Ornamental Crosses Die Set were added.

The inside of the card was decorated with the basket and sentiments from the Basket of Blessings stamp set, the Grass Border Die, and the Eggs Dies.  The basket was white embossed on pink card stock and shading added with Copic Markers.  Strips of papers from the Shabby Rose Collection and card stock were stitched together from which the eggs were cut.

Here are the new products used to make these projects that are now available at the Our Daily Bread Designs Store...
