For my first sample I used the adorable Cheerful Snowmen stamp set designed by Jen Nilsson
Creative Nugget: The snowflakes from the Cheerful Snowmen stamp set were randomly stamped around the border of the Stitched panel using coordinating inks. A die cut frame was mounted to the middle of the panel. The snowman and bird were colored with Copic Markers and popped onto the card. The sentiment is from the Christmas Pine stamp set. A few Sparkletz were added for some bling to finish the card.
My second sample was made with the new Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set designed by Nina Brackett.
Creative Nugget: Several of the smaller snowflakes from the Folk Art Snowflakes stamp set were randomly white embossed on a stitched Kraft panel. White acrylic paint was splattered on the panel. The largest snowflake was white embossed on textured vellum, fussy cut and popped onto the card. The sentiment was also white embossed...love the look of white embossing on Kraft card stock. A few white gems were added to finish the card.
These new products used on the cards above are now available at the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Store...

ReplyDeleteYou've made two wonderful and wintry cards. My heart melts every time I see one of the snowmen from the new release, so you definitely won my heart with the first card. But the second one has the Folk Art Snowflakes that look terrific on the kraft card-stock. Both cards are winners in my book! Thanks for sharing them!
