Creative Nugget: A piece of mixed media paper was watercolored with distress and oxide inks and cut with the new Scalloped Chain Die. The same die was used to cut a white panel which was adhered to a gray piece of card stock. The watercolored pieces were then randomly popped back into the die to create the background. The images from the Happy Wedding Day set were colored with Copic Markers and cut with matching dies before popping them onto paper from the Wedding Wishes Collection. The sentiment was white embossed on a vellum Pennant Flag die cut.

What a cleverly pieced background! So effective! I like the little bell you've got tucked in there too - great detailing. Lovely sentiment both in content and execution. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.
ReplyDeleteCathy, you've done a lovely job on this anniversary card! I love so many things about it, but my favourites are the two little birds perched on the vellum sentiment banner! The stitching and the sweet bow are other design elements that caught my eye! So glad you joined us this week at As You See It Challenges!
