Creative Nugget: The background for this card was made by applying watered down distress inks with an acrylic block on some mixed media paper, some sponging through a crackle stencil, and then sprayed with some Gilded Gold Art Anthology spray…a bit messy, but a pretty layer for my Copic-colored Pretty Potted Floral. The little Majestic Monarchs were stamped on scraps of the background paper, cut with the matching Monarch Die, and mounted on coordinating squares of card stock. The sentiment from another new stamp set, Floral Greetings, was embossed on a pennant flag die cut. Some white accents, a little bow, and a pearl of Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to finish the card.
