Creative Nugget: One of the metallic papers from the Winter Collection was a perfect background for the Armor of God card. Frames were cut from silver card stock using the Majestic Medallions Dies, the Rectangle Dies, the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies, and the Pierced Ovals Dies. The Armor of God image was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut, and popped onto the left side of the card with mounting tape. The silver embossed sentiments was cut with one of the Ovals Dies to finish the card.
My second card was made with the new Sending My Love Stamp & Die Duo.
Creative Nugget: The stitched layers on the card were made using papers from the new Birthday Brights Paper Collection, Smokey Shadow and Neenah Solar Crest card stock. Copic Markers were again used to color the Wishing Well. A few clouds were sponged using one of the die cuts from the Clouds & Raindrops die set as a mask. The Sending word die included in the Sending My Love Stamp & Duo set was cut once from the patterned paper and twice from white card stock as well as from the front of the Wishing Well panel. These were all layered and pieced back into the cut made on the front of the card. The sentiment was white embossed on a piece cut using the Log Cabin Quilt Die…**love using these pieces for small sentiments! A Bitty Border was cut from the patterned paper to frame the sentiment, and a few butterflies cut using the new Bitty Butterflies Dies were added. A white grid ribbon bow and some rhinestones were added to finish the card.
