Welcome to the ODBD and CardMaker Blog Hop

Hello friends!  You are in for a special treat...Our Daily Bread Designs and CardMaker are joining up for a fabulous Blog Hop!  If you are like me, you are still working on Christmas cards for this year, so grab a cup of your favorite beverage and get ready to enjoy an abundance of beautiful Christmas inspiration.

If you have come here by way of Mendi's Blog, Snippets of Mendi, you are right on track.  If not, head on over to the CardMaker Blog to start at the beginning…you won't want to miss any of the amazing eye candy.

Creative Nugget:  The ODBD Custom Leafy Edged Border Die was used to cut a curved edge on the pink piece of patterned paper from the Christmas Collection 2014 pad.  This was stitched to a coordinating pattern, matted with pink card stock, and mounted to a Neenah Solar Crest card base.   Double Stitched Rectangles were used to cut matching panels…the sentiment from the Christmas Carols stamp set was embossed on one panel and the Boho Background Die was used to emboss the other.  TIP: To make your own matching glitter paper, apply VersaMark ink around the edges of card stock and emboss with clear sparkle powder!  The Elegant Embellishments ornaments were stamped, cut with the coordinating Elegant Embellishments Dies, embossed with clear sparkle powder, and hung with metallic thread.  White ribbon ties everything together, and a few tiny gems were added for a little more sparkle to finish the card.

Here are the supplies from the
Our Daily Bread Designs Store used to make this card:

Hope you were inspired by your visit.
Your next stop is the talented Stacy Morgan

  12. I'm not a pink person, but must say the pink used on your cards is one that I'd buy. The dies are fantastic and love how you layered.
