When I was a young girl, I loved horses…collected them and read about them…what young girl didn't? I had never ridden one until a few years ago when we took a trip to Aiken, South Carolina…what fun!
Creative Nugget: The horses from the Saddle Up stamp set were colored with Copic Markers and cut with the new Double Stitched Rectangles Die. All circles on the card were cut with the Double Stitched Circle Dies…the larger one matted with the largest Doily die cut, and the smaller sentiment one matted with the same sized Double Stitched Circle die cut mounted a little off to the left. Papers from the Vintage Ephemera Collection were perfect for the background. A jute bow and pearls colored with a Copic Marker were added to finish this birthday card which will be sent to my sister in Nevada.
