My first sample uses the new Elegant Embellishments stamp set and matching Elegant Embellishments Dies.
Creative Nugget: Papers from the Christmas Collection 2015 were matted with deep red card stock and adhered to the Vintage Cream card base. The scene outside the window was sponged with Distress inks and stamped with the tree from the North Coast Creations Deer Silhouette Greetings stamp set. Snowdrifts made with the Leafy Edged Borders were added. The windowsill was cut with the Welcoming Window Dies. The hanging ornaments were stamped with the Elegant Embellishments stamp set and cut with the matching Elegant Embellishments Dies. The top layer of each was covered with VersaMark ink and embossed with Clear Sparkle Embossing Glitter. Fancy Foliage Dies and the Peaceful Poinsettia Dies were used to make the swag on the windowsill. Finally, the topper was cut with the Leafy Edged Border Dies.
My second sample was made with the pretty Adore Him Die.
to create the samples above…
Creative Nugget: The background for this card was made with papers from the Christmas Collection 2014 and the Leafy Edged Borders stitched to light pink card stock. The Layered Lacy Square Die was modified with partial die cutting to make the frame for the pretty Adore Him die cut which is actually five layers glued together for dimension. The top layer of the Adore Him die cut was embossed with Clear Sparkle Glitter. The Elegant Embellishments ornament was stamped on Vintage Cream card stock with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink and fussy cut. The matching Elegant Embellishments Die was used to cut a mat for the ornament out of the light pink card stock. The ornament was also embossed with Clear Sparkle Glitter. Some twine and colored rhinestones were added to finish the card.
These new products from the ODBD Store were used to create the samples above…
…and these old favorites…
