Here it is Saturday again and time for a new sketch at The Sweet Stop! Speaking of new...aren't you glad that God's mercies are new every day? God's faithfulness is so great, that no matter how we slip up or make mistakes, we can start each day with a clean slate just by asking for forgiveness. That's good news and the theme of my sample today.
Creative Nugget: The front of the card was made with a combination of My Mind's Eye and Cosmo Cricket designer papers stitched to Smokey Shadow card stock and mounted to a Vintage Cream card base. The large Poppy Background by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps was stamped on some matching MME paper from the Blush paper pad and cut out to pop on the square panel. The sentiment from the New Creature stamp set, also by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, was stamped on Vintage Cream card stock, cut with a Fluer de Lis Square, sponged with Pumice Stone Distress ink, and attached to the card. I found some sparkly micro beads in my stash that I've had for years, and used Glossy Accents to adhere them to the center of the poppy. Pearls and seam binding finish the card. Hope you like it!
