Creative Nugget: I discovered this Double Display Card fold on the "Move It" CD by Technique Junkie Newsletter, and thought it would be perfect for displaying the beautiful new "The Waves of the Sea" stamp set. I just followed the directions on the CD to create the card base and then set to work decorating the panels. Each panel was matted with Fine Linen Card stock and papers from the Weekend Market Paper Collection by Bo Bunny. The Anchor set coordinates beautifully with The Waves on the Sea, so the anchor image was stamped directly on the DP to form the left panel. Some sponging helped to create depth and the clouds. The sentiment was also stamped right on the DP for the right panel. Classic Circle Nesties were used to create a frame for the ship image which was also stamped on DP and sponged. A White gel pen was used to highlight some of the waves. Cheesecloth and shells were added to complete the nautical look of the card.
Here is another view of the center panel:
Here are the stamp sets available at the Our Daily Bread Store used to create this card:
I know you've been amazed by all the gorgeous projects created from the new stamp sets being released this month, but you're not finished yet! From here you will hop to the super talented Sandee! Don't forget to leave a comment to be eligible for the fabulous prizes!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and enjoy the remainder of the hop!

Cathymac
