Creative Nugget: Have you noticed all the yellow and gray creations out there in Blogland and on patterned papers? I never would have put these colors together on my own, but they are a lovely, soft combination, so my card features these colors. A new stamp set by Our Daily Bread Designs called Earth's Gladdest Day was used to create my sample. The crocuses were colored with Copic Markers and two extra flowers were colored and popped up for dimension. The panel was cut with a Rectangle Nestie and mounted on Smokey Shadow card stock. The patterned paper layers by My Mind's Eye were also stitched to Smokey Shadow. The doily is actually a Splendid Circle die cut. The sentiment from the He Lives clear stamp set by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps was added at the bottom. Everything was adhered to a Vintage Cream card front. The Wrinkled Ribbon bow was dyed with a distress ink pad and the pearl, colored with a Copic Marker to match, was added to finish the card. Hope you like it!
Be sure to check out some other creative samples using this sketch by the other Sugar Babies...you won't be disappointed, and they will provide wonderful inspiration for your SSS199 submission!
