Turtley Awesome

Hello friends...happy hump day!  Hope you are having a good week.  I'm sorry to say that today is the last day of mini blog hops for the Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps January Release.  The good news is you still have one more day of wonderful inspiration and then tomorrow the winners of each stamp set released will be announced.  Today we are featuring the bigger version of one of the sets you've already seen.  Can you guess what it is?  That's right...Cute Critters!

This adorable set with its cute quips is so versatile, it can be used all through the year.  Just imagine the possibilities of combining this set with the mini version...Mini Critters!

  • Set includes seven images and seven sentiments
  • Set measures approximately 4" x 6"
  • Images measure approximately 1.75" x 1.5"
  • Illustrated by Korin Sutherland

Here's my sample for Cute Critters

Creative Nugget:  I had so much fun creating this little pond scene for the turtle image.  I tore and cut various patterned papers from an old retired SU! paper pad and stitched them to a Not Quite Navy card stock panel.  This panel was mounted to a Neenah Solar Crest card front that had been embossed with the Canvas Impression Plate.  A variety of dies, embossing folders, and punches were used to add details to the scene.  The turtle was colored with Copic Markers, cut out, and popped onto the lily pad. Some Glossy Accents was added to the turtle's shell for added texture.  This card will be perfect for one of my nephews because they are turtley awesome!

The Sweet 'n Sassy Design Divas have more wonderful eye candy for your inspiration.  Just click on the linky tool below to make your way through the hop.

Be sure to leave a comment on each of the blogs along the way because one lucky commenter will win this adorable stamp set.

The deadline to comment for a chance to win is midnight tonight.  The list of winners will be announced on the
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog tomorrow, January 10th.

I hope you've had as much fun hopping along with us this week as we've had creating the samples for you.  By now you have probably chosen your favorite sets to add to your wish list.  If you are like me, you might even want them all! LOL!  If that is so, be sure to check out the Bundle option at the Sweet 'n Sassy Store.

Thanks so much for stopping by...have a blessed day!

Hugs,
Cathy
