Hello friends! Only 4 more days until we celebrate the birth of Jesus!
Creative Nugget: Very little stamping on this one! All stamps and dies are from Our Daily Bread Designs. Papers from the Holly Jolly Paper Collection and creamy card stock were cut with the Poinsettia Inset and Pierced Rectangles Dies. The poinsettias were cut with both Merry Mosaics and Peaceful Poinsettias Dies and shaped with a stylus. Pine Branches and poinsettia leaves were tucked between the flowers and all was tied together with some jute twine. The sentiment is from the White as Snow Stamp and Die Duo.

Looking Back at the ODBD December 2017 Release
Hello friends! Today we are taking another look at the Our Daily Bread Designs December 2017 Release.
My first sample was made with the new Praise the Lord stamp set.
Creative Nugget: Papers from the Christmas Collection 2017 were cut with Pierced Rectangle dies and stitched together for the card front. A Decorative Corner Die was used to create the corners on the center green panel. The cross from the Praise the Lord stamp set was colored with Copic Markers, cut with the Oval Stitched Rows Die and matted with a red Oval. The sentiment was white embossed on vellum, layered over ribbon and wrapped around the card front before mounting it to the card base. Finally the bow was added to finish the card.
My second sample uses the White as Snow Stamp & Die Duo, the Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies and the Gift Bag Handles and Topper Dies.
Creative Nugget: The Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies without the inset along with the Gift Bag Handles & Topper Dies were used to cut the pieces of the gift bag from white card stock. Strong adhesive was used to attach all the sides except one, keeping the bag flat until the front was finished. The Snowflake Sky Die was used to create a decorative panel which was layered onto paper from the Christmas Collection 2014 paper pad. This was adhered to the front panel of the bag. The White as Snow Stamp & Die Duo was used to stamp and cut the snowman which was colored with Copic Markers and also attached to the front of the bag. The sentiment was embossed, cut with a Pierced Circle Die and mounted to a Circle cut from the decorative paper before adding it to the front. The handle toppers were attached to the front and back of the bag before adhering the remaining side and bottom of the bag.

Warm Greetings
Hello friends and warm greeting to you! I love trying new techniques and cute snowman images...when you combine the two you get a card perfect for sending warm greetings!
Creative Nugget: The background was made using the Shaving Cream Sparkle Technique with shaving cream and distress inks. Several shades of blue distress inks were combined with shaving cream on an acrylic block and smeared across the mixed media paper at the top and bottom of the panel. Instead of a splatter stamp, a dot stencil was used to apply ink and embossing powders. The cute snowman is from the White as Snow Stamp & Die Duo just released by Our Daily Bread Designs at the beginning of the month. Other dies used to complete the card include Pierced Rectangles, Oval Stitched Rows, and Curvy Slopes.
This card will be submitted for the following challenges:
Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #271 - Anything Goes
CAS-UAL Fridays Challenge 188 - Winter Blues
Cute Card Thursday Challenge 507 - Anything Goes
Simon Monday Challenge Blog - Icy Inspiration
Sparkles Christmas Challenge #83 - Snowman/Men

Snuggly Wishes
Hello friends! Earlier this week I posted a card for the
Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps Blog using this week's Splitcoaststampers Sketch and I'm finally getting around to posting it here.
Creative Nugget: Two of the adorable birds from the For the Birds stamp set were colored with Copic Markers to look like a cardinal and a bluebird and cut with a matching die. A Splash Watercolor Background using different blue Distress and Distress Oxide inks was created on the circle behind the birds. Snowdrifts were masked and sponged on the front panel which was then embossed with a TH Texture Fade embossing folder. A faux wood strip created by applying Oxide inks directly to the paper was added to the right side of the card to look like the trunk of a tree. The sentiment was embossed and a few sequins and Sparkle Powder were added to finish the card.
This card will be submitted for the following challenges:

My first sample was made with the new Praise the Lord stamp set and the new Card Caddy & Gift Box Dies.
Creative Nugget: Pieces of mixed media card stock were sponged with Distress Oxide inks and cut with the Card Caddy & Gift Bag Dies with the included inset cut in the front panel. Gift Bag Handle & Toppers Dies were used to cut paper from the Christmas Collection 2013 and matching green card stock. A Double Stitched Circle Die was used to cut washers for the handles. Oval Stitched Rows Dies, an Ovals Die, and a Pennant Flags Die were used to cut and mat the Copic colored pine cross and sentiment from the Praise the Lord stamp set. The gift bag was assembled and finished off with a few Pine Branches die cuts and a twine bow.
My second sample uses the Noel Ornaments stamp.
Creative Nugget: The Noel Ornaments image was colored with Copic Markers and the panel cut with an Oval Stitched Rows Die. The same die was used to cut two ovals out of red card stock to be used as mats for the focal image since the largest die was used to cut the main image. The Gift Bag Topper Die was used to cut a border from paper from the Holly Jolly Collection. The Merry Christmas Border was left in the die and VersaMark ink sponged through the highlights so they could be white embossed. Double Stitched Rectangle Dies were used to cut the other layers. The card was assembled, stitched together and finished off with a white bow.
